With over a decade of experience treating dysphagia across the lifespan, Casey brings both professional expertise and lived perspective to her role as founder of TexScope™. She holds dual degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders and Government from The University of Texas at Austin, as well as a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of North Texas.

Casey is a Board-Certified Specialist in Swallowing & Swallowing Disorders (BCS-S) and a Certified Neonatal Therapist. She also holds additional certifications in Lactation Counseling, Developmental Care, and Neonatal Massage. A nine-time recipient of the ASHA ACE Award for Continuing Education, she has lectured at more than 14 graduate programs across the U.S., been invited as a guest on multiple podcasts, and presented research at national and international conferences.
Her work as an expert witness in dysphagia-related cases has further reinforced her commitment to advancing education, promoting ethical standards, and advocating for patient safety within the medical community. Casey brings a balanced perspective to her work—clinician, educator, entrepreneur, NICU mother, sister to a sibling with special needs, and lifelong advocate.
